Management

  • Job Description
    The Management department is subdivided into Audit, Managerial Planning, Business Division Planning, Innovation Support, Business Strategy Planning, New Business Planning, and Foreign Market Planning functions. Each function seeks to contribute to creating value through supporting business activities and managerial innovation based on professional competences.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Management department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Business, Economics, Accounting or Electronic Engineering is required.
    Applicants with English proficiency will be preferred.
  • Office Location
    Management roles are mainly located in the Anyang Main Office and regional business sites.

Finance

  • Job Description

    The Finance department is subdivided into the Treasury, Accounting, Tax and Investor Relations (IR) functions.

    • The finance sector aims at minimizing financial risk (foreign exchange/interest rates/liquidity), allocating and operating financial resources efficiently, and supporting strategic enterprise projects.
    • The Accounting and Tax divisions are responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information to internal/external clients, and for supporting the achievement of managerial objectives through improving the quality of information by securing asset quality and protecting firm values. They are also responsible for correctly reporting tax related issues, for monitoring tax risks to minimize tax liabilities, and for supporting operating departments.
    • The IR division is responsible for increasing the firm’s market value through the exchange of investment information with the investor community.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Finance department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Electronic Engineering is required. Applicants with English proficiency will be preferred.

HR

  • Job Description

    The HR department is subdivided into Human Resources, Training, and Labor Relations functions.

    • The Human Resources division is responsible for managing the recruitment, placement, training, evaluation, compensation, promotion and resignation of employees in accordance with the firm’s overall business strategy.
    • The Training division builds and executes Training/Promoting systems to improve the competency of the organization and its employees.
    • The Labor Relations division seeks to build value-creating labor-management relationships based on trust and respect.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the HR department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Business, Law, or Psychology is required. LS Cable & System recruits foreign talent extensively, therefore applicants with English proficiency (native speaker level) or proficiency in any other second language will be preferred.

Supply Management

  • Job Description

    The Supply Management department is subdivided into Materials, Purchasing, and Logistics functions.

    • The Materials division is responsible for supporting smooth production activities by providing materials in a timely manner by working closely with the production facilities. The Purchasing division utilizes various information channels to discover, select and evaluate potential suppliers, and analyzes and forecasts market changes to maintain adequate purchase unit prices.
    • The Logistics function establishes, maintains and develops the logistics process, which takes care of the flawless packaging, storage, loading and unloading, and transporting until the product reaches the customer. It discovers and nurtures related corporations to maintain the highest level of services.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Supply Management department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Logistics, Business, or Science and Engineering is required. Applicants with English or Chinese proficiency will be preferred.

Environment and Safety

  • Job Description

    The Environment and Safety department is subdivided into the Environment and Safety function.

    • The Environment division processes waste materials from business activities in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, and continuously promotes environmentally friendly campaigns. The Safety division constructs state-of-the-art ESH systems to pre-empt harmful and dangerous factors from the workplace, thereby preventing accidents and improving employee health by creating comfortable and pleasant working environments.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Environment and Safety department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Environmental Engineering or Safety Engineering is required. According to job function, Engineer Industrial Safety, 1st grade Engineer Environment, Fire Safety Manager, Engineer Wastes Treatment, Engineer Fire Protection System, Engineer Hazardous Material, Engineer Gas Safety, Engineer Industrial Hygiene certificate holders are preferred.

Legislation

  • Job Description
    The Legislation department contributes to meeting business objectives through corporate risk prevention activities.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Legislation department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Law or Public Administration is required.

Public Relations

  • Job Description
    The Public Relations department contributes to the achievement of business objectives and enhancement of corporate brand values through building a positive corporate image and supporting sales promotions via strategic communication with stakeholders and employees.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Public Relations department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Mass Communications, Korean Language and Literature, or Business Administration is required.

General Affairs

  • Job Description

    The General Affairs role contributes to the achievement of business objectives by providing competitive services, enhancing internal/external customer satisfaction, and leading corporate culture.
    Emergency Planning roles are to plan, execute and evaluate support programs for employees to fulfill military duties for the nation, company and customers. In case of emergency, they are in charge of resource management, training, compliance with related laws, and maintaining business relationships with relevant agencies

    To be eligible for the General Affairs department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Business or Human Studies departments is required.
